Summer 2022 – We are again Serving Gotham Project’s NYS Wine in a Keg
We are so happy to be back open and serving up Gotham Project’s wine on tap!
Beside the CEO, Bruce Schneider being a great longtime friend of Ray, their wine in a keg is simply fantastic. You don’t know what your missing – we have two kinds on tap ($9 a glass)!
(Yes we also have a great local Bronx Pale Ale)
2019 GOTHAM Riesling, “The Finger”, Finger Lakes. Where it all began. Gotham’s first and signature wine, “The Finger”. From Doyle and Fulkerson Vineyards, prime sites on Seneca Lake. Vinified separately, then blended together to find a perfect balance at about 7.8 grams of acid balanced by approximately 10 grams sugar. This youthful and delicate wine dazzles with its multi-dimensional nose of tangerine, lime, and stone fruit. The lightly sweet palate introduces pomelo and Key lime along with acidity that lights up the wine’s light, zesty and vibrant body with pleasantly lower alcohol. An engaging array of summer flowers scents the back palate and fades into the modest finish.
2019 SCHNEIDER & BIELER Rosé “Empire”, New York. A true NY Rose. Cabernet Franc from the Dalrymple Vineyard on Seneca Lake meets Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Onabay Vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island. Only 6 hours of skin contact prior to pressing, followed by fermentation and aging in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the wines’ fresh fruit notes and bright aromatics. The three components were fermented separately with different yeast strains. The result is a delicious balance of berry notes complimented by savory notes and a mouth-watering salinity on the finish.

Very eventful 2019 season on the farm!
To say it was an eventful 2019 season is an understatement. Despite a rainy and cold start, the late spring, summer, and fall was filled with fabulous seasonal food, local drinks, local entertainment, along with quiet moments of petting a goat and searching for that perfect tomatoes. We hosted formal sit down dinners thanks to Chef Patti Jackson and Saul Bolton, Friday Happy Hours where the likes of Hey Bub, Dream to Be, Leonisa Ardizzone, and the Bunkhouse Boys provided live music while people enjoyed everything from stuffed cabbage to shephard’s pie to corn fritters and more, themed Sunday afternoon like Build a BLT, Pierogies and Pints, along with great BBQs, pig roasts and brunches and managed to fit in many great private events to celebrate family milestones and corporate happenings.
